Preserving Time with Precision
A quarter-century commitment to horological excellence in the heart of Zürich.
Return HomeOur Story
Geneva Precision was established in 1999 by master watchmaker Thomas Müller, who trained at the prestigious watchmaking school in Le Locle. What began as a single-person workshop on a quiet Zürich street has evolved into a trusted name in Swiss watch repair and maintenance.
Our founding principle remains unchanged: every timepiece, regardless of its value or complexity, deserves the same meticulous attention and respect. This philosophy guided us through our early years working primarily with local collectors, and continues to shape our approach as we now service timepieces from throughout Switzerland and beyond.
In 2007, we expanded our capabilities by bringing aboard additional certified technicians, each bringing specialized expertise in different aspects of horological repair. This allowed us to broaden our service offerings while maintaining the personalized attention that had become our hallmark. Our workshop relocated to its current location on Rennweg in 2012, providing us with the space and infrastructure to serve our growing client base properly.
Today, Geneva Precision operates with a team of five certified watchmakers, supported by administrative staff who ensure smooth client communication and service coordination. We maintain relationships with authorized parts suppliers for major Swiss manufacturers while also preserving connections with independent component makers for vintage and specialized repairs.
Our workshop combines traditional watchmaking techniques with modern diagnostic equipment. We invest regularly in training and tools, ensuring our team stays current with evolving horological technology while respecting the timeless principles of mechanical watchmaking that have defined Swiss craftsmanship for centuries.

Our Values and Expertise
At Geneva Precision, we view watch repair as both a technical discipline and a form of preservation. Each timepiece represents not just mechanical engineering, but also the vision of its creators and the history of its owners. This perspective informs every aspect of our work.
Our expertise spans the full spectrum of horological service needs. We work extensively with Swiss mechanical movements, from simple three-hand calibers to complex chronographs and calendar complications. Our technicians maintain current knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques while also possessing the specialized skills needed to service vintage pieces that may require different approaches.
We believe in transparent communication throughout the service process. When you entrust us with your timepiece, we provide detailed explanations of our findings and recommendations. If unexpected issues arise during service, we contact you before proceeding, explaining the situation and discussing options. This approach ensures you remain informed and comfortable with the care your watch receives.
Continuous learning forms a core part of our professional culture. The watchmaking industry evolves constantly, with new materials, techniques, and technologies appearing regularly. Our team members attend manufacturer training sessions, industry seminars, and technical workshops to maintain their expertise. This ongoing education ensures we can properly service both current production timepieces and those from earlier eras.
We maintain relationships with authorized parts suppliers for major Swiss manufacturers, enabling us to source components that meet original specifications. For vintage repairs where original parts may be unavailable, we work with specialized suppliers who produce components to appropriate standards. This network of resources allows us to approach each repair with appropriate solutions rather than compromises.
